I got ripped off!

Last night I went to the commissary to buy myself some pistachio peanut as I crave for one since my friend offered me some during office hours. For those who didn't realize this but Pistachio peanut is a very expensive peanut in Malaysia where a small bag, with 250g can cost nearly RM20 although it's expensive, the taste is superb. I bought some from the commisary and it cost me around QR15 for a packet and QR20-QR24 for the one in cans. There's a rumor that at Souq (a name of a place at Doha) which is like a market, sold pistachio peanuts at a cheap price. I will go to Souq tomorrow (5th February) to verify the rumor.

As I were saying (I'm a little off course, sorry!), I went to the commissary to buy peanuts with a soft drink and that is where something caught my attention... Short Pants! Wow, they sell those here? Lucky me! I need it since I have only 1 short pants. I opened the packaging and it was made in China and looks more like a Bermuda pants. It was fair for a price of QR10.50 each, I've bought 2 pairs. Later on, I went back to my room anxiously to try my new pants as I feel more comfortable in short pants but to my surprise, it was a little tight! Eh? I've bought 'XXL' size! Ok, maybe it was new and perhaps a few washing might do the trick. So bearing with the tight feeling, I went to my mini fridge to get a drink and then 'CRAAAACCCCK!!!'. What the ****?! My new pants was torn when I bent down to reach for my drink! Yep, you guessed it. It was the middle part. Although I was dissapointed, I was calm as I realized that it was a cheap pants and made from China (what do you expect?). So, I was ripped off. Next time I'll just buy a good one at Doha. Lesson learned! Cheaps are good but sometimes, not even worth buying in some cases. Yea I really got 'RIPPED'! :)
