I was browsing YouTube and I’ve stumbled upon several interesting commercial from the local about safety awareness. It’s creative as well as humorous to watch. They were translated in 3 languages which is Malay, English and Chinese. Perhaps there could be more, I don’t know… So I decided to compile all of them into one post so that you can enjoy all of them without having to search them anywhere else. Anyway, enjoy as well take note of the advises that was given in the videos. It might be funny but it does serve a purpose to save you and your loved ones from harm on the road. Enjoy! :)

Actually I don’t really care much about Yuna & Libresse but I do notice her songs at the end of the commercial that was rather interesting. I decided to look up for it and I found it. Dates to cure headache?

Last night I had a terrible headache and I thought the cause was where I was exposed to the rain. The headache was sudden and indeed unbearable. The throbbing pain continued till midnight where I had a hard time getting myself a shut eye. Usually it would goes on like 2-3 days before settling down after taking a tablet of Uphamol 650 or two tablet of Panadol Active Fast.

Unfortunately last night I didn't have both with me. Suddenly I got this crazy idea that would sounds absurd where I would try to cure myself with...dates. Yes, dates. I don't know why but that is the only thing I can found consumable and in a way, I suddenly thought of Allah. I told myself "Allah is the Almighty and Allah can take this away in any way he wants if I just ask". It was a bold move because I never try this before and usually a headache like this I would reach for a Panadol in a second. So I took a glass of cold plain water and the the dates in my hand then I pray with something spontaneous like this

 "My dear Allah. Your humble servant knows that You (Allah) are the Almighty...please ease the pain in my head with nothing that I can have now but this one date. I beg of You my dear Allah... Amin..."

Actually it was in malay language but I translated it in english so that I can share my prayers with everyone. In malay, it sounds something like this

"Ya Allah. HambaMu tahu diriMu yang Maha kuasa... Sembuhkanlah sakit kepala hambaMu ini dengan sebiji kurma ini ya Allah. HambaMu memohon padaMu ya Allah... Amin..."

Still in pain, I try my best to get a shut eye. The next morning in my office I had a chat with my wife on Skype and she asked me about my headache. I totally forgot about my headache and I just realized that it was gone as if it was never there! I felt better and the weird thing is that today I felt really motivated during my work.

Thinking back about last night on what had happened, well it gave me goosebumps and surprise. I didn't expect something little as a prayer like that would really come true. I felt very grateful to Allah and I am here sharing my story with everyone for a small thing that I did but in the end anything was possible in the will of Allah. You must not only pray but work on the solution and believe in your prayers as well. If I were in doubt last night, I might not have the will to write this post as my head might have still be throbbing in pain! Praise to Allah the Almighty!

What are the odds that a date can cure your headache?

P.S: I'm not saying dates are the solution to my headache but anything can be useful with the will of Allah... :)

Digi network problem? I thought...

A few days ago I was about to surf the internet through my mobile. Well basically it's using my laptop but via my mobile to be exact. So I plugged my phone in and everything was connected. With joy I started to surf and everything went well... but... it didn't last long. Alright, it was more like a few seconds didn't-last-long kinda thing because all the pages loaded like ages!

I've checked the properties of my connections and it shows 115kbps! What?! Usually it would be 420kbps! Yes, I am in a 3G area. It even showed 3.5G on my phone (means that it's using the high speed connection). I've tried many times as well as restarting both my mobile phone and my laptop but the result is still the same. So I've decided to chat with the DiGi agent at OCS (Online Customer Service). To cut it short, they've said that I've used up the 3GB usage and my speed was capped based on the FUP (Fair Usage Policy). What?!

Hey, my billing cycle is at the 8th of every month and by default the data usage should reset as well right? I went back for Raya on the 10th September and I was at my hometown like 10 days which is till 20th of September. When I was at home, I was busy and I surf using my wireless broadband at home. Duh! Who wants to use the mobile net if you can surf faster with the home broadband! Returning back to KL on the 20th, it was like what... 4 days later I realized that it was capped. How could I surf on the phone during my stay at Miri (at that time I didn't connect my laptop to my hp yet until I realize my speed was capped!) and reaching 3GIGABYTE of data? This is the answer by the agent; "Well sir, 3GB is not that big. You may use an app on the phone that might use our data plan as well where it could be the factor why your usage was high". WTF people...WTF... How could I use Fring till it CAPPED my speed? I CAN use up to 3 GB in 4 days... Again people I just had to say it... W.T.F...

Next question from me was whether they can check my usage and they said that NO they can't. I said why and the reason was they have no access on the customer's data usage. Ok and I asked again, how do you print my data usage on my bill then? They said that it's automatically done by the system where if the customer reached the limit, the action will be executed. Wow! A full trust to the machine! You basically CAN tell people how much they've used but you CANNOT check how much they've used. Confusing? OMG... again people, W.T.F... it's pretty ironic don't you think?

So I don't want to argue much with them since its pointless but just use what I have and tolerate with what had happened. Frustrating, yes, disappointment, yes but not much can be done though. Haih... Anyway people, I'm just sharing here. Do share your experience if you ever encounter the same problems that I have. We can learn and share the experience together as well as to the rest of the world for better understanding and judgment. :)

P.S: Oh, I'm using DiGi Unlimited plan with a monthly payment of RM58. Anyone? Hehe!
