Slow and Steady wins the race. Yep.

Hi there Readers!

It has been a good start for 2015. One of the good news was that when I was checking the remaining balance for my PTPTN loan, it showed I have only a few more payments to be done and I'm all finished! Alhamdulillah. Here's my current statement on January 2015.
Current outstanding amount for my PTPTN loan.
Paid 3x more than my normal RM200 as I have some extra cash.
I have it all thanks to my dad. Even before I did have a job, he insisted me to start paying out of my pocket money even RM50 for a start. It doesn't seem much or even change much on the loan but then it had kept me going. Hard at first but setting my priorities right, I've managed to get used to it. After that, he had advised me when I have a job, to pay RM200 each month till the very end but if I could pay more, I should do it. That is what I've been practicing all these years.

So for more than 8 years I've been paying which I've never missed a month in paying my education loan. (well there are times I've skipped it but I'll have to pay more to compensate my lost time so it has been considered covered?). At times, if I have an extra cash I would put more into it. Yea, Maggi could solve the trick when you need to tie up that food expenses although it is not recommended as a main diet!

I know debts are a pain in the butt but then, debts are still debts. The moment you've accepted the agreement, you have to do your part of the agreement as they've done theirs. I believe that's not rocket science. Which whining and getting all worked up won't get it solved. Get it paid will solve it.

Another thing is that I have also kept an excel file with formulas to ensure that the payment and calculations that was done on the statements are correct and tallied. Just in case there might be discrepancies. Not to forget to always keep a copy of receipt for each payment that has been made (a softcopy in PDF if you're paying online). I would advise everyone to do the same.

Anyway, for those who are still paying, don't get too frustrated about it. Just pay what you could and pay more if you have the opportunity. Simple! Without realizing, it could be finished before you could even realize it!

Cheers.

I was wrong! Sorry!

Alright. I've to admit it that I was wrong here. On 20th March 2011 I've posted that my FB has been deleted. Yes, I was so frustrated at that time which I couldn't deleted friends in masses (I have too much friends for the sake of gaming!) or organise my photos that well too. So instead of deactivating it, I've just delete it completely. How wrong I was to think that I was free but the giant social network has lured me back again. Being proud to say that I've deleted it completely, in the end I've ended up with another new one. What I've learned here? If you wanna do something, just shut up and do it. Don't go telling around that you're gonna do it and in the end, it's like going to spit you back in the face again.

By now you should realise that I'm still on FB because I still have my FB links there as well as my Twitter 'follow' button too. Yes, I'm on Twitter as well...and Path. So if you're interested to add me up, look for me and add me in your social network. (...and on Instagram. Oh lord.)

Oh one more thing, just because you can search for me and add me up, doesn't mean I'll accept it freely. Yes you spammers and scammers out there! Stay away!

2014? It's still alive and kicking!

Hey guys.

It has been a while since I've written on my blog. It seems since last year on September 2013 which was the last time I've blogged, my blog has been visited countless times and I can say that it is still running. Mostly in regards to 'PTPTN' payment (first time?). Oh well, I'm glad that it helped so many people (mainly students?) in starting to pay back their loans after their studies. Yes, doing it online is so much convenient!

From me, I'm still paying back my loan until now and I think a couple more and I would be free from it (at last!). Ain't easy I can tell you but then, it helped me for my studies so it's fair that I pay it back.

Speaking of which over the years I've seen demonstrations and riot in regards to this loan. Either it was too much or as a burden for the student. Well I was one of them and I am still using the 3% interest and not the Ujrah type. I didn't come from a well off family and I shouldered the loan by myself without the aid from my parents because I wanted them not to take the burden since they've sacrificed a lot for me already. I took the max loan and even an extended of 2 years more of my studies (can you imagine how much the total was?!). Since I wasn't that bright, so yea, I've got extended. Boo.

Hey you needed to study and you needed money right? When you made the loan, you were hoping and praying that you'll get it. Now you've got it so why are you complaining? Suck it up and pay. Not many people had the opportunity like you did or even qualify for a loan. Remember that.

So guys, please pay up. When you're done, the money can benefit to those who just started their studies in the higher institution which needed the a lot of financial aid. If you need any assistance in setting up you're online payment (Maybank only please), I could try my best to assist you since perhaps the layout of my previous post might be outdated with Maybank's new design.

Till next time! :D

It's alive again?

I thought that after a while I was about to close this blog because it looks like it has been inactive since April 2012 but since I saw there're lotsa comments and readers are reading and visiting my blog, well why not extend the lifespan of the blog again?

I've been busy with my other blog as well (ry4ntr3.tumblr.com) for, well casual purposes. Hehe. It's fun and easier than blogspot. Nevertheless, this was the first blog that I've started and it's kinda sad to close it down though. I've been busy traveling to overseas and working, I've hardly had the time to sit down at my laptop to blog anymore. By the time I wanted to start, it's just going to end up in bed with me snoring like a generator. Lol!

Anyway, glad that some are finding my posts meaningful and informative. Maybe I'll start blogging again? Cheers!

Whoa! Where was I?

I can't remember when was the last time I have blogged. Since going to the new site, works have been piling and blogging seems quite a distance from me. Anyway, I hope I can do again but now in mobile since I have an iPad and an iPhone so this could enable me to work out something like blogging on the go.

Anyway, I'm back again and looking forward to share my thoughts with everyone! :)

How to pay your PTPTN online through Maybank2u

So you now have a job or at least there's a voice telling you to be honest to yourself and start paying off those debt eh? Well, I could be wrong though but anyway I've been paying PTPTN for quite sometime and you may be wondering how can you pay PTPTN online. (Well yea, that's why you're here right?) It is quite convenience to do it online because you can keep track of the transaction as well as it's just a click away. So enough of that let's just start eh?

1. Make sure you have a Maybank2u account (if you don't make one!). "What about other banks?" Hey, this is obviously for M2U right? The topic is for M2U so go google it elsewhere! You can login here to open the secure website. Make sure there's the HTTPS in front of the URL to avoid phishing website!

2. After logging in, click 'Account & Banking' as shown below.

3. Then go to the left hand side menu and click 'Bill Payment'.

4. On this page we're going to save this method for future payment so it will be easier for us to do the transaction again. Go to 'Add favorite payee'.

5. On step 1 to add a favorite payee, search for 'PTPTN - Bayaran Balik Pinjaman Pendidikan'. This is important as there is another one called 'PTPTN - Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN)'. We don't want that so don't get confused ok? Click the Continue  button to proceed.

6. Step 2 for adding the favorite payee is to fill in your IC and your full name. That shouldn't be hard right? "What's my name?!" Dude, seriously? There's always a view sample if you don't understand what to fill on certain field. After every field has been filled, click the Continue button to proceed.

7. The last step to add your favorite payee is to request the TAC (Transaction Authorization Code) onto your mobile phone in order to verify the adding of selected payee.

After you entered your TAC and it has been confirmed, click the 'Confirm' button to proceed. You can now pay to PTPTN without the hassle in filling all those detail all over again. It's that simple! Now let's start to make that payment!

1. Click back to 'Bill Payment'  on the left side of the menu to go back to the payment page.

2. After that click 'Make a payment to a favorite payee'.

3. Select 'PTPTN - Bayaran Balik Pinjaman Pendidikan - ' under the drop down list.

4. Alright, on this part I can't help you much as for security reason they need you to fill in one field which is the offer letter code. This is to ensure that the payment goes to the correct account based on the code. Make sure you have the offer letter still in your possession. I can't help you on that part if you lost it but you can still contact them through the following number 03-2080 4455 and retrieve your details.

5. Lastly check your particular to ensure the amount and the offer letter is correct then just submit the payment. You can always check the status or the history of your payment in M2U history under 'Account Details'. As a good practice, I would recommend you to print every payment that you've made as proof of payment just in case for future references.

They payment will be update few days later on E-FES so be patient and rest assured that the payment has gone through. You can still check them here for your PTPTN online statement. Other than that you can check it through SMS (Short Messaging Service) by sending 'PIN NUMBER''IC NUMBER' to 33199. Oh, there is a RM0.50 charge for each SMS sent.

So there you have it on steps to pay your PTPTN through M2U. Hope it helps and good luck in paying back everyone!

P.S: You can also bank some into my account? Haha! Just kidding people! :)

My Facebook has been officially deleted!

Wow... that is one long time span since I've come back here to write about my blog! Cool image eh? I got it from the internet and it does gives a serious meaning! Hehe... Anyway, I've just deleted my Facebook due to my 'friends' which are mostly 'gaming' friends. I've lost track of my friends, family and relatives as 'they' are more than all those combined. Yea, I know it's my fault therefore I'm going to put a stop to all that.

I've tried to delete it one by one but unfortunately Facebook doesn't offer multiple selection. It's really tedious to delete one by one whereas categorizing them too! Long story short, delete all. So for those who notice of my mysterious disappearance, relax... I've just created a new account with the same name. You can add me up again or I'll try to add you if I'll come across your profile. Hey, it's not easy for me ok? I'll my months and months of game as well as high level character are gone!

Anyway, don't start thinking that 'He blocked me!' or 'He deleted me!' kind of stuff. I wouldn't do that unless I have a reason to do so but if you want to, I don't even care though. Your brain, your thoughts. None of my concern. There you have it! Spread it out to your friends as this is really and truly unintentional. ~ Cheers mate! :)

Digi network problem? I thought...

A few days ago I was about to surf the internet through my mobile. Well basically it's using my laptop but via my mobile to be exact. So I plugged my phone in and everything was connected. With joy I started to surf and everything went well... but... it didn't last long. Alright, it was more like a few seconds didn't-last-long kinda thing because all the pages loaded like ages!

I've checked the properties of my connections and it shows 115kbps! What?! Usually it would be 420kbps! Yes, I am in a 3G area. It even showed 3.5G on my phone (means that it's using the high speed connection). I've tried many times as well as restarting both my mobile phone and my laptop but the result is still the same. So I've decided to chat with the DiGi agent at OCS (Online Customer Service). To cut it short, they've said that I've used up the 3GB usage and my speed was capped based on the FUP (Fair Usage Policy). What?!

Hey, my billing cycle is at the 8th of every month and by default the data usage should reset as well right? I went back for Raya on the 10th September and I was at my hometown like 10 days which is till 20th of September. When I was at home, I was busy and I surf using my wireless broadband at home. Duh! Who wants to use the mobile net if you can surf faster with the home broadband! Returning back to KL on the 20th, it was like what... 4 days later I realized that it was capped. How could I surf on the phone during my stay at Miri (at that time I didn't connect my laptop to my hp yet until I realize my speed was capped!) and reaching 3GIGABYTE of data? This is the answer by the agent; "Well sir, 3GB is not that big. You may use an app on the phone that might use our data plan as well where it could be the factor why your usage was high". WTF people...WTF... How could I use Fring till it CAPPED my speed? I CAN use up to 3 GB in 4 days... Again people I just had to say it... W.T.F...

Next question from me was whether they can check my usage and they said that NO they can't. I said why and the reason was they have no access on the customer's data usage. Ok and I asked again, how do you print my data usage on my bill then? They said that it's automatically done by the system where if the customer reached the limit, the action will be executed. Wow! A full trust to the machine! You basically CAN tell people how much they've used but you CANNOT check how much they've used. Confusing? OMG... again people, W.T.F... it's pretty ironic don't you think?

So I don't want to argue much with them since its pointless but just use what I have and tolerate with what had happened. Frustrating, yes, disappointment, yes but not much can be done though. Haih... Anyway people, I'm just sharing here. Do share your experience if you ever encounter the same problems that I have. We can learn and share the experience together as well as to the rest of the world for better understanding and judgment. :)

P.S: Oh, I'm using DiGi Unlimited plan with a monthly payment of RM58. Anyone? Hehe!

My friends are 'working'...

I've just completed my work and I'm kind of free at the moment so I took some of these photos for fun. I would say it's just another day at the office. Hehe! We should have some fun once in a while right? Don't get stress out guys. Chill...

My colleagues at the office

As you can see, they're pretty serious with their work. So it seems... But there're more to it. :)

I think she would say something like this?

...and he would say something like this?

...and this is my desk. Cool huh?

Anyway, who knows what could be behind those monitors as from what I can see, they are in their own world. Well as for me, I can't really do much as my location is facing the walkpath and the boss could 'NGAP' me anytime when he walks by if I do any hanky-panky stuff! (you-know-what!). Haha...

Again, it's just another day at the office... Haih... :)

World Cup 2010 Fever?

Although I'm writing this post regarding about the oncoming world cup but I'm not that much into football but I came across with the world cup song for 2010 which is very interesting. So I thought of sharing it with everyone else because it kind of gives you a motivation from the lyrics as well as the high spirit with the drums and all. Anyway, do tell what do you think about the song and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. Here's the link to the download for the original song (not for the world cup song). The video and the audio is embedded with the logo above for previews. Enjoy!

K'naan - Wavin' Flag
When i get older, they'll call me freedom
Just like a Waving Flag.

[Chorus]
When I get older, I will be stronger,
They'll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag,
And then it goes back, and then it goes back,
And then it goes back

Born to a throne, stronger than Rome
but Violent prone, poor people zone,
But it's my home, all I have known,
Where I got grown, streets we would roam.
But out of the darkness, I came the farthest,
Among the hardest survival.
Learn from these streets, it can be bleak,
Except no defeat, surrender retreat,

So we struggling, fighting to eat and
We wondering when we'll be free,
So we patiently wait, for that fateful day,
It's not far away, so for now we say

[Chorus]

So many wars, settling scores,
Bringing us promises, leaving us poor,
I heard them say, love is the way,
Love is the answer, that's what they say,
But look how they treat us, Make us believers,
We fight their battles, then they deceive us,
Try to control us, they couldn't hold us,
Cause we just move forward like Buffalo Soldiers.

But we struggling, fighting to eat,
And we wondering, when we'll be free
So we patiently wait, for that faithful day,
It's not far away, but for now we say,

[Chorus] 2x

(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And everybody will be singing it
(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And you and I will be singing it
(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And we all will be singing it
(Ohhh Ohh Ohh Ohh)

[Chorus] 2x

When I get older, when I get older
I will be stronger, just like a Waving Flag,
Just like a Waving Flag, just like a Waving flag
Flag, flag, Just like a Waving Flag

Officially in KL! Finally...

KL view from the balcony at my condo

It was quite a while since I've being active with my blog again. It was rather a busy time for me after returning from Qatar and having my holiday. Nevertheless, it wouldn't stop me from blogging. It was always in my mind for the state of my blogging activity because I've left it for so long. Anyway, I would try my best to post again as it would be meaningless for me to have a blog if I would do it half-heartedly.

So I'm now officially in KL. Well, not to say I wasn't in KL before but it's just a transit for me before going to oversea. Now I'm in KL for work and I may be here for quite sometime. At last I can rearrange my life again after a year of hectic time at my project.

KL looks pretty much the same since I've left for my last project but in my office, it would be slightly different as there are people who comes and goes. That's life I guess. We would always pursue for something better in our life as I would imagin that we're like chasing life as if it was a race to see who would be on top. Life can be either rewarding or very unmerciful in teaching you. I would look it that way.

Being involve more in my current project brings me to ease as I would be pretty much comfortable if I'm working rather than doing nothing (resting, holiday and etc.). Guess it's just a habit since I was small. I just like to keep myself busy although I would admit I do have my limits where I would just take a break. Hey, I'm just a human right? I do need my break too or I will break! Anyway, resting too long is kind of bad for me as it would just bring the bad side of me where I would just be lazy and all. Therefore it's back to work again!

Currently working on a project with the help from some of my friendly colleagues. I really appreciate them to give me a helping hand in teaching me on what I should really be doing in my work. I would thank Allah for giving me the chance and luck since I've been working in my current company until now. I hope I can be of more use as well as to show more of my potential in my current company. Well, you know how it goes where one good deeds deserve another. It means if the company treats you well, well you should be giving back equally. Just to be fair right? I don't know if many would agree with me or I'm just being sarcastic? Anyway, let's just see what would happen from here on. :)

Anyway, I'm hoping to be more active again in my blogs. Check out my other blog here as well for some of the technological things or information that I can share with everyone. Enjoy!

Language barrier...Sorry!

Dear everyone, I'm sorry but from now on I will use full english on my website as I've said before on my previous posts where I've added a translation engine and they don't have Sarawak translation. Hehe...So in order for the engine to work properly, I must use full english (well, maybe one or two weird language might be ok?). For the previous post, I might leave it as it is but from now on, it's english all the way. Thank you for your understanding. :)

New feature added!

Lately I noticed that I have international visitors coming to my website. Therefore, I've added a translation function on the right sidebar of my blog. For those who wishes to read my website in their own language, you can select at the drop down list on the right sidebar and translate it. I'm sorry if any of the language that you want doesn't exist in the list as that is the only ones provided by Google engines.

Other than that, I've added a jukebox for some entertainment while reading my blog. Sorry again if the songs aren't to your liking but it seems ok for me. Hehe! Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy my blog as well as myself writing about it to you. Enjoy!

Why auto-answer can be bad for you? (sometimes...)

Ok, this is what happened. It's actually funny! Haha! Apaka, belum mula cerita dah tetak! Haha...Ok2. (Deep breath! Fuh...) I was doing my work as usual and then when I was just about to walk to another building to run some errands, suddenly I heard a voice. It's like from a phone but it has been put to a loudspeaker mode. I tried to differentiate between a walkie-talkie and a mobile phone since there are peoples who uses walkie-talkie around here and it sounds a little similar (only without the beeps!).

When I was trying to approach to the source of the sound, I noticed that my colleague was doing the same thing too. We were searching for the source of the voice because no one was in the building except us! It sounded like a woman shouting and saying 'Hello! Hello!'. So we confirmed out it was from a mobile phone. So? Nothing unusual right? People make calls and uses their loudspeaker at times but still something was unusual there... She kept on talking but I guess that the woman didn't know that there was no one there! The weird thing is that the conversation went on like 5-8 minutes (she should by now realize that there is on one there)! She was still talking alone and her tone was more like sobering or something. In her speech there was some vulgar words like 'F**k you!' and something else. She was speaking in Tagalog language and I can't understand a thing (except for the 'Hello' and those vulgar words). I guess it could be some girlfriend of someone who was love sick? Beats me!

Anyway, I guess the phone was set to auto-answer and it can be at times invites some unsatisfied people who could get angry over it as they thought you answered their call but it turns out no one was there! So watch out as technology which should help us can backfire if we're careless! :P
