Mess hall? No!

You do not want to eat at the mess hall during lunch hour! I had a bad experience today when I went for lunch at the mess hall. It was a very long queue and I spent nearly 11 minutes just to be in line before taking my meal. Why it's such a big deal? Our lunch time is 11.30pm and I have to be at the bus station at 11.15pm. It takes around 30 minutes to go to the mess hall at my camp site so it's around 12pm. After that you have less than half an hour to eat because the bus leaves for the office at 12.30pm sharp. When i say sharp, I mean PRECISE! So 11 minutes of waiting leaves me less than 20 minutes to eat and I have to rush my meal! Gosh...It was good enough that I didn't puke at the mess hall just to stuff and digest the food that I've eaten.

The most precious thing in Doha!

Despite the rush and all, the menu was fairly pleasant where I ate a beef burger, fries, sweet bbq chicken, fried rice (weird taste!) and fried fish fillet. It was nice and the best part is KIMBALL chilli sauce! Why? It's because the sauce are seldom being eaten by the people here and you can taste the feeling 'Malaysia', a taste that you recognise. Other than that they said it taste hot or looks hot. Well what I can say since the label of Kimball displayed a big red chilli. Therefore who wouldn't have that kind of perception? Haha...Anyway, if you want to come to Doha and going to have your meal at KFC, you better buy 1 Kimball chilli sauce. They don't have Kimball chilli sauce there and we all know that KFC chicken taste better with Kimball chilli sauce. That's the best sauce money can buy. Something I learned while working here in Doha, Qatar. :)
