Time is Short

Vast riches like the sea,
Far away land as the eyes can see,
Tower reaches up to the sky,
Money kept like mountains so high.

Time is short to consume all this,
Time is short deep in the abyss,
Nevertheless we always need more,
Even though for what we are not sure.

Don’t stop now on the path you lead,
With all those lust, power and greed,
Work like you will live forever,
Immortality comes next and after.

Realise this before it’s too late,
Realise this others can wait,
What you have is just so small,
From what that is seen it’s nothing at all.

This short life will come to an end,
Not the question of how but it is when,
All your riches that made you a slave,
None can be brought into your grave.

Warnings and advices have been told,
You didn’t listen treating it cold,
When it has been sealed for your fate,
You will see that it’s already way too late…
